Anatomy of a Teen Magnet: Da Nang's Golden Bridge and the Giant Hands

In the midst of the forest high above Ba Na Hills outside of Da Nang, the Golden Bridge has grabbed visitors’ attention thanks to its striking appearance.

Design Boom recently featured the bridge, which is covered with a coat of metallic yellow paint, designed to resemble a silk strip floating among white clouds. The structure is held aloft by two giant hands.

While standing on the bridge, visitors can take in the scenic mountains around Ba Na. The design website shares that the bridge aims to attract more tourists to the US$2 billion Ba Na Hills development.

Located 1,400 meters above sea level with a length of nearly 150 meters, the Golden Bridge is part of the project's Thien Thai Garden.

Although the bridge only opened in early June, tourists have already scurried to the Instagrammable location.

Chrysanthemums have also been planted along the bridge's walkway, adding even more color to the setting.
