Manzi is pleased to present a special concert titled "Black River" by Nguyen Thanh Thuy, the well-know Zither artist who made a name for herself in both traditional and experimental practices in cross cultural collaborations.

In this one and only recital for Hanoi music lovers, Nguyen Thanh Thuy will introduce new works by contemporary artists from USA, Sweden and Vietnam, which all explored novel sonorities as well as transformed the identity of the instrument with electronic sound. Two composers Kent Oloffson and Lương Huệ Trinh will participate in the incredible concert.

This performance will be part of Thuy's Performance at her doctoral hooding ceremony in Sweden this November.
