Sound Scoop at Hanoi @ Indra Gandhi Park

Sound Scoop @ Hanoi is a site responsive sonic intervention exploring interactions of soundscapes from different geographies, sites, spaces, and functions.

Using source material from The Library by soundpocket 聲音圖書館 and recently recorded sounds from Hanoi, Georgia Golebiowski invites us to question our position within the locational soundscape, as participants, contributors, listeners and actively sounding bodies.

Inciting a more sensitive relationship with our everyday surroundings through the study of field recordings, processes of active listening and embodied socio-spatial realities, this new series of compositions turn towards aural environments as indicators of the real, the remembered and the imagined.
