From the organizer: Soul Bar proudly presents Duo Laroo/ Byrd.

Saskia Laroo, born in Amsterdam, was dubbed in the United States by press and public as the ‘Lady Miles of Europe’. She started performing already at the age of eight as a member of the local Brass Band but later studied playing the trumpet with some of the best known artists and teachers of the day at the Music Academy of Alkmaar and Hilversum and the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam.

Saskia Laroo (trumpet / electronics ) and Warren Byrd (vocals / keys / electronics ) , bringing a tasty blend of jazz and lounge on a bed of smooth grooves. They have worked together for the first time in the United States in 2001 ; Since then , he accompanies her on most of her tours , as her favorite and keyboardist.

The duo will pay tribute to Mile Davis, John Coltrane and Chet Baker and perform the most beloved jazz pieces.
